Disengage Yourself From Fools

How are you dealing with fools that try to engage you? You may encounter many people along life’s journey who may not always have your best interest in mind.

They many show up as:

  • A friend offering advise against your planned decision

  • A supervisor providing alternative leadership

  • A neighbor who despises your green grass

  • A family member angered by your success

Do you do everything in your power to appease them? Do you walk on eggshells to avoid crushing their feelings? Or do you simply focus on your life and your journey and ignore their demise against you?

I say, focus on you and your path. Your journey is yours to decide how you will traverse it. Do not let others intimidate you, shame you, or try to make you feel guilty for your success or decisions you’ve made. Everyone is given a journey and how they choose to travel is their decision. If others chose to walk an unsuccessful journey, it is not your place to feel guilty for their decision. Do not allow others to place their burdens upon you.

Disengage yourself from people of such nature. They are fools that should not be connected to you.

What good is your story if you do not use it to inspire?
